How do I find and reserve a hotel with PoloHotels.com ?
After you choose one of the destinations from the menu, you will
see the selection of hotels. The hotels that PoloHotels.com offer
are in the 2-star to 5-star categories, and will usually have
important features such as rooms, dining and recreational
facilities, etc. Important amenities/facilities are shown with
icons in the search results page, and any additional facilities
will be listed on each hotel page.
Also, be sure to make your reservation for the full duration of
your stay, in order to avoid the unavailability if you later
decide to further your stay.
After I make my reservation, how long it takes to get hotel's
confirmation ?
Within 2 working days (not including Sat, Sun & Public holidays)

When you make a booking with us, within 24 hours, you will receive
our Order Acknowledgement via e-mail, confirming that your order
is now being process. Please keep this e-mail, which will indicate
your Order No., for your reference.
At the same time we will contact our agents with your request.
Assuming availability, a reservation is then made with your
information confirming your booking and your credit card payment
will be settled at this time as well.
Upon confirmation (usually within 2-working day), we will send you
a hotel check-in voucher showing booking details via an e-mail.
This voucher can then be presented upon check-in at the hotel.
If you do not receive any mail from us within 2-working day after
placing an order, please kindly contact us.
Do I need a credit card to make a hotel reservation ?
Yes. All Bookings are on prepayment basis. For your convenience,
PoloHotels.com offers credit card payment directly from our web
site. However, you will not be charged until we get confirmation
from your selected hotel. We accept payment by Visa, Master Card.
Is the credit card information secure with PoloHotels.com
online?
All of the credit card details and your personal information are
protected and secured by the standard secure socket layer (SSL)
encryption.
When will I be charged ?
You will be charged only if your selected hotel is available.
After receiving your order, we will check for hotel's availability.
If your selected hotel is available, we will make reservation and
your credit card payment will be settled on receipt by us of
confirmation of availability from the selected hotel.
Whose name is the reservation made under ?
The hotel's reservation is made under your name. You can check-in
with either a hotel check-in voucher or your passport (showing the
same name as when you fill out our reservation form).
What is the latest time that I can make my reservation ?
We accept bookings that are made at least 3-working days (not
including Sat, Sun & Public holidays) before the check-in date.
Are your hotel rates per room or per person ?
All of our listed rates are per room, NOT per person (unless
otherwise specified). Moreover, there is no charge for children
under 5 years old sharing a room with parents with no extra bed.
Is there any fee using PoloHotels.com service ?
There is no charge to use Polo Hotels.com for reserving hotels and,
in fact, you will usually save a lot of money by booking at our
special rates.
Can I make a reservation directly through the hotel ?
The special rates listed on the Polo Hotels.com are only available
through our service. If you would like to make a reservation
directly with the hotel you will need to contact them directly.
What is your cancellation policy for hotel reservations ?
-If we receive your notification of cancellation within 7 working
days (not including Sat, Sun & Public holidays) prior to check-in
date, there will be no cancellation charge
-If notification of cancellation is received less than 7 working
days (not including Sat, Sun & Public holidays) prior to check-in
date OR we do not receive any cancellation notification,

What about child rate ?
There is normally no charge for a child under 12 years old sharing
a room with parents but charged for breakfast. (if not state
otherwise)
If a price for a twin plus child shown in the tariff as N/A as the
triple price will apply. Otherwise twin plus child prices are for
a room with two adults and one child aged between 2 and 12 years (unless
a different range is specified).
Cots are only suitable for children under 2 years.
Trade fair rates and validity
Trade fair prices shown in our tariff after non trade fair periods
will supersede the non trade fair prices.
Certain periods e.g. Christmas attract high prices in some cities,
these are not strictly trade fairs but it is possible that during
these periods our rates may be close to rack and should be treated
in the same way as trade fairs.
Trade fair reservation :
For some trade fairs, the prices may be above rack rates. Should
any fair dates change or new fairs apply we will notify you of
such changes.
Accommodation at some hotels must be sold for the full duration of
the fair. We will advise full details at the time of booking. When
a reservation request is made for a trade fair period, we will
confirm the reservation of the rooms with a reconfirmation date.
If you reconfirm your request, you will be totally committed for
all night and no refunds will be given. Cancellations cannot be
accepted after we have received your reconfirmation.
Glossary of room types
A "single room": has one single bed, and thus accommodate one
person.
A "double room": has one large bed, big enough for a couple;
Or a "twin room": has two single beds for two people who don't
want to share a bed.
A "triple room": accommodate three people. A triple room is
composed of either a large bed and one single, or three single
beds.
A "quadruple room": accommodate four people. A quadruple room can
have either two large beds, or one large bed with two single beds.
Note: Extra bed for child : in all casses these are only suitable
for children aged 12 and under.
A "studio": is one room living-cum-sleeping accommodation, usually
with divan/sofa beds, basic kitchen facilities (usually two
cooking rings and a fridge) and a shower room.
An "apartment": is a self-contained flat with one or more bedrooms
with twin/double beds, basic kitchen facilities (usually two
cooking rings and a fridge)and a shower room.
